I love
reading books and love to read about the personal experiences that turned out
to be pivotal points in the lives of those I admire. Whether celebrities,
business people or just regular folks, successful people learn from their life
experiences both good and bad. I think people who struggle to reach their goal
always have unusual experiences to share. Their experiences are always a blend
of varied flavors containing challenges, successes, tragedy, and love, all
things that lead to self-improvement for those who venture to do the work.
The
other day, I read the success story of Jeffrey Zisselman and his better half
Diana. Their story is unusual and breathtaking. Though their love life is also
an interesting story, their professional life has been as challenging. Their
impetus for success made them stand out from the crowd and offered them
recognition in a broad scale. Though a trained attorney Jeff disliked the
business model of the law firm he worked for after law school. He left the field
to pursue a career as an entrepreneur.
He eventually ended up with a network marketing company, As a
professional entrepreneur, he saw many phases in his business and disclosed the
fact that network marketing is not everybody's cup of tea. He suggests that one has to have five key
qualities to succeed in network marketing.
First, one has to have integrity.
Network marketing is a business based on trust and building that trust
with your team and others in the business is key to success. Second, one has to be coachable and have an
open and honest desire to become a different and better person. Third, one must be enjoyable to work
with. Network marketing is a very social
business and those who are unkind or unpleasant cannot succeed. Forth, one has to have a sincere desire to
help others. Jeff notes that initially
he entered network marketing for the attractive compensation plan however what
he has found is that helping others achieve heir goals is far more satisfying
than anything he has ever achieved himself.
Fifth, one has to have a big dream.
Network marketing can be very challenging and it will test the mental
and emotional strength of all who stick with it. The key is to have a big dream to drive you
forward.
The
most inspiring thing about the couple is that they valued human emotions to
monetary gains and believed in igniting the internal greatness of the people.
As Jeff Zisselman stated that positive attitude is the key to success and every
human being should be positive, and must have space for emotions like
forgiveness, gratitude and love to survive and stay physically and mentally
healthy.
In
spite of being a qualified and successful business professional, Jeff Zisselman
values relationships and family bonding. Jeff and Diana have no children of their own
and their goals is to help ensure that others in their life and in their
business are able to provide for the dreams of their children and their
children’s children.
Their
association with Nu Skin made them realize that their compassion for the people
was a wonderful gift that they could utilize to help people achieve their goals
and could also help them to make a continuing income throughout their lives
that other professions might not be able to give.
